Where to see birds
You can get to many birdwatching spots by public transport or by walking. Bird lists are often available from the local bird groups. For hints on where to go to see extra birds, the Birdwatcher's Guide to the Sydney Region by Peter Roberts (1993) provides detailed information. The Birds of Sydney County of Cumberland New South Wales by Hoskin (1991) and The Birds of Sydney Harbour National Park, New South Wales by Morris (1989) also provide information.
