Living Harbour site navigation

About the site

Living Harbour website is a three year project. Funding has been made available through the New South Wales state government IT capital enhancements. The project has three stages.

Stage one - explores Indigenous peoples long association with the Habour and looks at the wildlife and natural environment.

Stage two - proposed collaboration with government and community groups who share an interest in the Harbour.

Stage three - children and the Harbour, to explore how kids see, use and feel about the Harbour.

Living Harbour content was sourced and compiled by Australian Museum Web Researcher Brooke Carson-Ewart. Scientific information and oversight was provided by Val Attenbrow, Walter Boles, Sandy Ingleby, Wayne Longmore, Mark McGrouther, Ross Sadlier and Lin Sutherland. Final editing was done by Anne Skates. Flash maps were developed by Evan Howe.

All specimen and object scans were done by the Australian Museum web team.
